About Us

Dedicated to Elevating Christian Worship for U.S. Military and Veteran Chapels Worldwide
At MMI, we believe that the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces deserve the very best in spiritual care, religious education, and devotional music. These are individuals who live by honor, integrity, and sacrifice, with values deeply rooted in faith traditions that merit honor through excellence in worship support.
What sets MMI apart is not just our specialization but also our approach. Every candidate goes through a hands-on recruitment and onboarding process designed to align their calling with the specific mission and worship culture of each chapel. Once placed, we provide ongoing support, training, and team-building opportunities to ensure continuity, quality, and spiritual synergy.
We pride ourselves on engaging and cultivating musical and educational professionals who are adaptable, experienced, and deeply mission-aligned. From contemporary praise teams to liturgical ensembles, every MMI subcontractor is trained not just to meet expectations but to consistently exceed them.
Our Mission
To provide top-tier musicians, pastoral care, and religious education professionals who will exceed the requirements of the U.S. Military and Veteran faith communities around the globe.

Our History
Music Ministry International (MMI) was founded with a clear and heartfelt mission: to provide high-quality devotional music services to chapels within the U.S. Military and VA healthcare systems. This vision was deeply inspired by the personal experience of our founder.
In 1988, our founder's father, a WWII Army veteran, spent over eight months awaiting a heart transplant at the VA hospital in Richmond, Virginia. During weekend visits to attend Catholic services with him in the hospital chapel, our founder was profoundly moved by the number of veterans who passed away before a donor organ became available. It was particularly disheartening to observe that the worship music within the facility was of such poor quality, and a realization that, for some, it would be the last live music they would ever hear. It was during those poignant moments that our founder made a commitment to address this need in the future.
Building upon this deeply personal motivation, our founder began serving as an Ecumenical Music Director at the La Jolla VA Healthcare system beginning in 1999. This dedication eventually led to the formal establishment of MMI in 2014, with the aim of extending our services to U.S. Military chapels.
By 2017, MMI had broadened its scope to further include Christian religious education and pastoral care in hospital and graveside settings. We are proud to have served over 190 chapel locations, and we are the only small business based in the U.S. that is exclusively dedicated to serving chapels within the U.S. Military and VA healthcare systems. We have been providing exceptional services in music, religious education, and pastoral care, consistently surpassing expectations and garnering praise from chaplains and contracting officers.
MMI has been recognized by the Chief of Chaplains at the Pentagon, the Small Business Administration, and the Archdiocese for Military Services for its outstanding leadership and the provision of quality faith-based support.
